Harlaine Maple farm is a dynamic example of how an old-fashioned product is made using the latest in modern technology. For 25 years (until the pandemic hit), this farm on Brock Concession 1 south of Sunderland welcomed hundreds of visitors to its sugar shack as part of the Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival. At the maple shop on the property, syrup-lovers can purchase a variety of container sizes, depending on their needs, as well as maple butter.
Harlaine maple syrup has been produced at the Sunderland dairy farm since 1954. The Harders are a 3rd generation family farm with maple syrup and maple butter available for sale, conveniently located at the farm buildings with easy access. Harlaine Maple is open 7 days a week during the syrup season, March and April, and all year by phoning ahead or by chance. Syrup is available in 4L, 2L, 1L, 500ml and specialty containers for gifts or wedding favours.
